Position Summary

The Café Barista is a high-energy, guest-focused team member responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while preparing high-quality beverages and food items in a fast-paced café environment.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people, staying active, and bringing positive energy to every shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, and sandwiches according to brand standards and recipes
• Greet and engage with guests in a friendly, upbeat, and welcoming manner
• Create a positive guest experience through energy, conversation, and attentiveness
• Handle guest concerns professionally and with a positive attitude
• Support promotions and store initiatives with enthusiasm
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Accurately process POS transactions and cash handling duties
• Work closely with team members to maintain strong store energy and flow
• Stay open to coaching, training, and feedback for continuous improvement
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by Café Manager or leadership team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly

• Ability to perform repeated actions for extended periods
• Ability to bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
• Ability to stand for long periods in a confined workspace
