Job Description

Job Summary: The Circulating RN at Mission Community Hospital will provide exemplary patient care by circulating and scrubbing for cases and procedures within the surgical environment. The position is a full-time, individual contributor role based in Panorama City, California. Responsibilities:

• Scrub and Circulate for a variety of surgical cases and procedures
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care
• Perform pre- and post-operative teaching
• Assist with patient transfers
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols
• Monitor and maintain OR instruments and equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Registered Nursing license in the State of California
• At least two years of experience in surgical and perioperative nurse role
• Ability to read, interpret and follow physicians’ orders
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Ability to handle high stress situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
