Job Description: IT & Software - Network Engr 4

Location: Milpitas, California (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support campus infrastructure projects and facility expansions. This position is focused on the deployment, configuration, and implementation of network equipment across a large enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a networking professional who excels in executing network deployments rather than designing network architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, install, and configure network infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Perform rack and stack, cabling, hardware installation, and switch deployment activities.
• Support network setup and deployment for facilities projects.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches, particularly the Cisco 9200 series.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on deployment activities.
• Work closely with network engineering teams responsible for architecture and design.
• Monitor and maintain deployed network infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
• Utilize network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, to support ongoing operations.

Required Qualifications

• Active CCNA certification.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience supporting campus network environments.
• Strong experience deploying and configuring Cisco networking equipment, especially Cisco 9200 switches.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNP certification.
• Experience with Arista networking equipment.
• Experience with Keti/Ketai.
