JCW & Partners is partnering with growing transportation organizations seeking experienced Freight Broker to join their teams. What You'll Do

• Prospect, develop, and manage shipper relationships
• Source and onboard carrier partners while building transportation capacity
• Negotiate rates with customers and carriers to maximize profitability
• Coordinate and manage shipments from pickup through delivery
• Track and trace loads while providing proactive communication to customers
• Resolve service issues and transportation challenges quickly and professionally
• Analyze market conditions and pricing trends
• Maintain accurate customer, carrier, and load information within the TMS and CRM
• Collaborate with internal operations and leadership teams to achieve growth objectives

Qualifications

• Prior freight brokerage, logistics, transportation sales, or third-party logistics (3PL) experience
• Strong knowledge of Drayage, truckload, LTL, and domestic transportation markets
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow customer relationships
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience utilizing TMS, CRM, and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
