Salary: $59,000 - 68,500 per year Requirements:
- We require an associate degree in a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience.
- We require at least six years of relevant experience in website design, front-end development, and management of multiple internet and intranet properties.
- We require experience leading complex web projects and coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- We require strong proficiency with content management systems, especially Joomla! and WordPress.
- We require solid working knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, or a comparable web framework.
- We require experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- We require a strong understanding of dynamic websites, site navigation, multimedia content, and web server software.
- We require knowledge of encryption security practices, SSL certificate administration, and domain and search engine registration.
- We require excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to document requirements clearly.
- We require the ability to prioritize multiple assignments, manage competing deadlines, and handle several projects at once.
- We require analytical skills to help shape operational policies and procedures related to information systems and work processes.
- We require the ability to travel as needed and operate a motor vehicle.
- We require completion of our new hire orientation program.
- Preferred education is an associate degree.
- Preferred experience includes at least six years in web management.
Responsibilities: - We oversee the development, implementation, and upkeep of our ministry websites and internally built web application front ends.
- We serve as the main point of contact for web design and development efforts across websites and applications.
- We manage website content for designated ministry focus areas and coordinate the incorporation of approved information into our sites.
- We handle domain name registration and administration for web-related services.
- We implement and maintain SSL certificates to support secure web operations.
- We assist with the development and ongoing maintenance of web servers and related internet and intranet infrastructure.
- We manage the technical side of our websites, including approved content updates, file organization, maintenance, database support, archiving, and records retention.
- We meet with ministry staff to review new applications, evaluate enhancements to existing tools, and confirm current and future development needs.
- We coordinate final web products with key staff to help ensure quality and satisfaction before publication.
- We work with teams throughout the organization to build and maintain workflows affected by web and online technologies.
- We use communication tools such as email and video conferencing to support timely coordination and follow-up with ministries.
- We develop and carry out web project plans, including scope, resources, schedules, timelines, training, and budget control.
- We manage portals, websites, intranet projects, web applications, and related training initiatives.
- We stay current on web technologies and maintain project tracking systems as needed.
- We prepare activity reports and other requested documentation.
- We obtain management approval before incurring costs beyond the approved budget.
- We analyze website traffic and recommend programming improvements when needed.
- We monitor online transactions and work with OCPI and the IT Director to address suspected or fraudulent activity.
- We support established performance targets for response time, product quality, and end-user satisfaction.
- We contribute to organizational goals and key performance measures.
- We help maintain a safe work environment and respond appropriately to potential hazards.
