Job Title:IT QA Analyst
Location: Lombard, IL (Remote)-Local for meetings
Duration & Type: Initial 6-month contract with opportunity for contract extension or conversion

Chamberlain Advisors is currently seeking an IT QA Tester for our direct client in the highly competitive insurance and financial products industry. This is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility for extensions. This role is ideal for a true QA professional with strong experience supporting data-heavy initiatives, system integrations, and large-scale migration projects. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in data validation, data mapping, and complex system testing, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery in fast-paced, enterprise environments. What You Will Be Accountable For:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software applications, integrations, and data pipelines
- Perform end-to-end testing across large-scale systems, including integration, regression, UAT, and data validation testing
- Validate data accuracy and integrity across systems, including data mapping and transformation logic during migrations and integrations
- Support testing efforts for complex, enterprise-level projects, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data flows, system dependencies, and business rules
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution while ensuring proper root cause analysis
- Define and track QA metrics including defects, test coverage, and execution status
- Assist in evaluating and improving testing processes, frameworks, and data validation approaches
- Contribute to test automation efforts where applicable (preferred, not required)
What Qualifications You Need:- 5–7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing
- Strong experience working on large, complex IT projects, including system integrations and/or data migrations
- Proven experience with data mapping and data validation testing
- Experience testing integration workflows and data pipelines across multiple systems
- Familiarity with Big Data / Data Lake environments (preferred)
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ALM, etc.)
- Exposure to test automation tools/frameworks (preferred, not required)
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile environments
- Experience with analytics and reporting validation
- Insurance or financial services industry experience is a plus
