Job Description Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is seeking individuals interested in a medical career for our year‑long internship and medical assistant position. The program is ideal for the typical “bridge year” student who is graduating or has graduated from undergraduate school and has not yet applied or been accepted to medical school. This elite program is now in its 22nd year (first promoted in Alexandria, VA) with most graduates moving on to successful careers as physicians or physician’s assistants. Available in FL, GA, PA, MI, CO, NV, AZ, MD, VA, and WY. This full‑year internship, standardly available beginning May 2026, provides paid, full‑time training and clinical experience in dermatology. You must have graduated or will be graduating by June 2026. Applicants who are currently applying for medical school to begin in the class of September 2026 will not be considered. A car or reliable transportation is required; housing is not provided. Scope of Work Responsibilities: Assist the physician with all patient care duties, including triage of patients, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) data entry, writing and understanding prescriptions and their uses, biopsy preparation and clean‑up, surgical assisting and clean‑up. Meet hundreds of patients per week; develop clinical skills and learn the basics of dermatology. Other Information This is a paid, full‑time internship offering health, dental, and vision benefits.
