Orthopaedic Surgeon

About the Role:

A leading multispecialty medical group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon to join its growing team in Toms River, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, evaluate, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions through surgical and non-surgical treatment approaches.
  • Perform orthopaedic surgical procedures utilizing evidence-based techniques and advanced surgical technologies.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's condition and long-term recovery goals.
  • Evaluate patients through comprehensive consultations, physical examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and preventive care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the orthopaedic practice.
  • Stay current with emerging orthopaedic techniques, technologies, and best practices through continuing medical education.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Fellowship training or significant experience in Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction, Spine, or General Orthopaedics is welcome.
  • Strong clinical and surgical expertise in diagnosing and treating orthopaedic conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient relationship skills.
