This position is with the Medical Service of the Veterans Home of California - West Los Angeles and is responsible for  the medical care of an assigned group of GLAVC residents and the supervision of nurses, attendants, and others engaged in the care of residents.

Working Conditions

Employees of CalVet will be required to follow state or county public health guidelines and requirements enacted in accordance with infectious disease prevention and control.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a(n) Medical License. You will be required to provide a copy of your license prior to being hired.

Successful completion of live scan and a pre-employment physical (including drug testing for certain civil service classifications) will be required.

A complete application package includes: a signed STD. 678 and all required documentation.

If your eligibility requires that you meet the Minimum Qualificiations of the class and you quality under pattern requiring education, then the selected candidate will be required to provide college transcripts prior to appointment.
