Job Title: SAP PP ECC ConsultantLocation: Santa Clara, CA (On-Site)Max Rate: $75/hr (C2C)Experience: 8+ YearsDescription:- We are seeking an experienced SAP PP ECC Consultant with 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC 6.0 with a strong focus on SAP PP (Production Planning) and IM (Inventory Management) modules, and integration with other modules like MM (Material Management) and WM (Warehouse Management). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the business processes in Production Orders, Goods Issues, Receipts, Subcontracting, and Inventory Management processes. In this role, you'll be responsible for configuration, implementation, and integration of these modules, as well as data integration with non-SAP tools and partners. Responsibilities:- SAP PP/IM Configuration:Configure and support SAP Production Planning (PP) and Inventory Management (IM) modules, including integration with MM and WM modules.Work on Production Orders, Goods Issues/Receipts, Subcontracting Processes, Stock Transfers, Batch Handling, Cycle Counting, etc.Business Process Understanding:Understand business processes and analyze the impact of IT changes to improve these business operations.Advise stakeholders on the most efficient ways to improve production processes with SAP solutions.Integration and Customization:Integrate SAP with non-SAP tools/partners using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and IDOCs.Implement custom solutions, handle RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) and manage Change Management processes.Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams:Work with other functional areas such as MM, WM, SD, and BW to architect integrated solutions within the SAP PP and IM functional areas.Provide expert guidance and solutions on end-to-end supply chain and production processes.Reporting and Analytics:Strong knowledge in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP Hana for reporting and analytics, though familiarity with other reporting tools is a plus.Provide support and enhancements to reporting capabilities.Additional Tools Knowledge:Exposure to other SAP tools such as SAP Portals, SAP Ariba, SAP APO, SAP GTS, and SAP SRM.Familiarity with third-party Label Printing Solutions and integration. Required Qualifications:- Experience:8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC 6.0 with a primary focus on SAP PP and IM modules.Experience with MM and WM integration within SAP.Proficiency in EDI and IDOC data integration with non-SAP systems. Skills:In-depth knowledge of SAP PP/IM features & configuration and its integration with other functional areas like MM, WM, SD, and BW.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Experience with RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) and Change Management processes.Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and multi-functional teams.Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Education:-BE (Bachelor of Engineering) or BE + MBA is desirable.Preferred Knowledge:-SAP BW/Hana Reporting experience.Familiarity with SAP Portals, SAP Ariba, SAP APO, SAP GTS, and SAP SRM.Knowledge of Label Printing third-party solutions. Desired Qualities:Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel.Ability to architect solutions in SAP PP/IM with integration across various SAP modules.Customer-focused and detail-oriented approach to system configuration and issue resolution.Ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
