Salary: $99,450 - 171,350 per year Requirements:

• We require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which means U.S. citizenship is needed for employment, and an interim or final Secret Clearance may be required after start
• We require the ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs
• We require a bachelors degree or equivalent
• We require at least 2 years of experience in software development and/or software troubleshooting
• We require hands-on experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices
• We require experience designing and implementing scalable computing infrastructure for data solutions, including cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• For the Associate level, we prefer 5 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• We value experience in Linux system administration, software development, DevOps, DevSecOps, IT operations, or similar technical roles
• We value experience or coursework in Python, Java, C#, C++, or comparable scripting and programming languages
• We value experience or coursework in Agile software development
• We value experience supporting source control, issue tracking, documentation, or CI/CD tools
• We value a working understanding of networking, operating systems, databases, software build processes, and secure system administration
• We value the ability to follow documented procedures and communicate technical status clearly
• We value experience administering GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, GitLab runners, or comparable source control and deployment platforms
• We value experience supporting Jira, Confluence, or other Atlassian tools
• We value experience with PostgreSQL administration, SQL troubleshooting, backups, or restore procedures
• We value scripting experience in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages
• We value experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, configuration management, Infrastructure as Code, Ansible, containers, virtualization, or cloud-native tooling
• We value experience with Artifactory, SonarQube, Jenkins, or similar software delivery tools
• We value familiarity with monitoring, alerting, logging, incident response, and operational metrics
• We value familiarity with secure software delivery and Agile practices
• We value the ability to obtain Security+ certification

• We support the daily operation of GitLab, GitLab CI/CD runners, Jira, Confluence, PostgreSQL, and related developer tooling infrastructure
• We assist with deploying and configuring software development technologies, including build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
• We help administer cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure using approved AWS, Azure, Linux, virtualization, or container platform capabilities
• We monitor application, runner, database, storage, and host health using approved monitoring and alerting tools
• We triage and resolve routine service requests, access issues, pipeline infrastructure issues, and platform support tickets
• We assist with incident response during primary support hours and provide after-hours support when mission needs require it
• We maintain operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, architecture notes, and standard operating procedures
• We support backup monitoring, restore validation, patching, upgrades, and planned maintenance activities
• We assist with GitLab runner registration, runner health checks, queue troubleshooting, and basic capacity, KPI, and error budget reporting
• We create and maintain Infrastructure as Code, Ansible, and other scripts and automation to streamline infrastructure administration and software deployment under senior guidance
• We help set up and maintain development and production-like environments for developer tools and supporting application devices
• We support delivery teams with information needed to define and meet SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, KPIs, and error budgets
• We support administration, maintenance, version upgrades, patching, and integration across tools such as Jira, GitLab, Artifactory, Confluence, and SonarQube
• We contribute to metrics and dashboards that track system performance, software delivery health, and operational efficiency
• We follow approved change management, security, access control, and configuration management processes
• We collaborate with developers, project administrators, cybersecurity personnel, infrastructure teams, and program stakeholders
• We learn and apply Site Reliability Engineering practices, including incident management, service objectives, root cause analysis, automation, and continuous improvement
• We contribute to process improvements that help deliver higher-quality end-to-end software more frequently
