Field Service Engineer – UPS / Critical Power Systems

Seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to support our growing team in delivering exceptional service for UPS and critical power systems . This is an exciting opportunity to work with mission-critical infrastructure across a variety of industries, including data centers and commercial facilities.

What You’ll Do

• Perform startup and commissioning of UPS and critical power equipment
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on single and multi-module systems
• Troubleshoot and repair UPS systems, battery plants, switchgear, STS, PDUs, and related equipment
• Execute power audits and technical site evaluations
• Complete detailed field service, status, and critical action reports
• Support large-scale installations and collaborate with internal teams and OEM partners
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed (including nights/weekends)
• Provide customer education on system operation and maintenance

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience with UPS systems and critical power equipment
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and electronic theory
• Experience with major UPS brands 
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and field diagnostics
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel regionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree (or higher) in Electrical/Electronics or related field
• OEM certifications on UPS systems
• Experience with generators, ATS, and fire alarm systems
• Background in data centers or mission-critical environments
