Job Description

Are you passionate about hospitality, great wine, and creating unforgettable guest experiences? We’re looking for energetic, detail-oriented Events Servers to join our team across Sonoma and Napa County and help bring exceptional events to life.

This is more than a service role—we’re building a team of people who take initiative, support one another, and are driven to continuously raise the bar. If you’re someone who is motivated to learn, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings both awareness and intention to every interaction, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

As an Events Server, you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless, high-quality experiences for our guests. From setup to service to breakdown, you’ll be at the heart of every event.

  • Prepare event spaces, arranging tables, chairs, linens, décor, and place settings
  • Serve food and wine with precision, timing each course to perfection
  • Provide thoughtful, attentive wine service at each guest setting
  • Clear and reset tables throughout service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of event equipment and storage areas
  • Assist with on-site sales, including packaging wine and merchandise
  • Support the Events Manager to ensure every event runs smoothly
  • Contribute ideas and energy toward creating memorable, elevated guest experiences

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of hospitality, banquet, or food service experience
  • Knowledge of wine, food, and basic cooking methods (a plus!)
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • A strong guest-first mindset and commitment to excellence
  • High attention to detail and pride in your work
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve
  • Strong interpersonal awareness and the ability to read the room and anticipate guest needs

Our Approach to Hospitality

We believe hospitality should be anything but ordinary. Our team is encouraged to think creatively, challenge the status quo, and push beyond traditional service standards to create experiences that feel personal, thoughtful, and memorable.

If you’re excited by the idea of reimagining what exceptional hospitality can look like—and being part of a team that’s always striving to do it better—you’ll fit right in.

Physical & Work Environment

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. You’ll:

  • Be on your feet for extended periods
  • Lift up to 30–40 lbs occasionally
  • Work in busy, sometimes warm or fast-moving kitchen/event settings
  • Manage multiple tasks at once with focus and efficiency

Why Join Us?

You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in creating memorable experiences through exceptional service, food, and wine. If you thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy working with passionate people, and want to be part of something that continues to evolve and improve, this role is for you.

Ready to help redefine hospitality in Sonoma and Napa? Apply today and be part of something special.

About the Company:

For over five decades, we’ve believed that ‘our best bottle is yet to come.’ This unwavering commitment to quality has driven us to seek out the finest vineyard sites in Napa and Alexander Valley, build LEED Platinum Certified wineries, and invest in our own cooperage in Missouri—ensuring every barrel is 100% American oak and precisely toasted to complement our signature winemaking style.

At Silver Oak, we don’t just make wine; we create experiences that elevate life’s defining moments.
