Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Retail Banking Manager to oversee a multi-branch network, drive deposit growth, and lead a team of market and branch managers. This is a highly visible leadership role offering autonomy to implement regional initiatives, strengthen team performance, and expand market presence.

As the regional ambassador, you will engage closely with branch teams, monitor performance metrics, and ensure alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capabilities, a proven ability to generate new business, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for a network of approximately 12 branches within the region.
• Drive new business development and deposit growth, including interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing accounts.
• Establish and manage regional performance goals while ensuring branch-level objectives are achieved.
• Lead, coach, and develop market managers responsible for branch performance and team engagement.
• Reinforce effective sales behaviors and support branch managers in executing growth initiatives.
• Ensure operational excellence and adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve market penetration and implement strategies to strengthen regional presence.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7+ years of banking experience with 3–5 years of multi-branch or regional leadership experience
• Demonstrated success in retail banking sales, deposit growth, and business development
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Ability to operate independently, think strategically, and execute in a growth-oriented environment

Compensation & Benefits:

Determining compensation for this role depends upon a number of factors, including but not limited to licensure and certification requirements, office location and geographical considerations, and the individual’s skill set, experience, and training.

As required by local law, Highland Consulting Group believes $130,000–$150,000 to be a reasonable starting base compensation for this role for individuals hired into positions in geographies that require salary range disclosure.

Additional benefits include:
• Medical, dental, and life insurance coverage
• Short- and long-term disability programs
• 401(k) with employer match
• Paid time off
• Long-term equity opportunities

Why This Opportunity Is Unique:
• Join a community-focused, relationship-driven organization operating in a strong growth phase
• Enjoy meaningful autonomy to make strategic decisions and execute initiatives within your region
• Opportunity to expand presence and drive impact in under-penetrated markets
• Work within an entrepreneurial environment that values initiative and minimizes bureaucracy
